Meet the Owner
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela.
These words have been a guiding force in my life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and spent a decade at Methodist Hospital in post-surgical and intensive care units. Educating patients, families, and staff was one of my greatest joys, and I loved finding creative ways to simplify complex concepts.
Alongside my career in healthcare, I have volunteered as an early childhood educator for many years. I completed my Director’s Certification from the National Institute of Child Care Management, and my passion lies in sparking curiosity through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. As a mother, I value the importance of creating nurturing environments where young learners thrive.
When my best friend Rosie and I decided to start a preschool, we were drawn to Ivy Kids for its strong educational foundation, especially the MultiPrep® Curriculum. Our families feel incredibly blessed to be part of the McKinney community, and we look forward to welcoming and partnering with your family at Ivy Kids.
