This profound quote is the very essence of Ivy Kids Early Learning Center in League City, a passionate belief that guides my brother, Rahim, and me.
Rahim earned a degree in Communications and International Business from the University of Houston, while I received a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University. Yet, our education extends far beyond these degrees; it flourishes daily as we eagerly engage with our vibrant students.
We believe that true learning transcends textbooks and lectures. It blossoms through exciting experiences, ignites our emotions, unleashes creativity, fosters lifelong friendships, challenges our potential, and helps us discover our purpose. This journey begins with a strong foundation in early childhood education.
At Ivy Kids, our philosophy is to cultivate this holistic growth, always accompanied by essential hugs and giggles! We strive to create a place where your child feels the comfort of home while embarking on thought-provoking, enriching experiences that transform their own windows into mirrors. A lifelong passion for service drives me to help others learn, grow, and succeed. My extensive educational background includes studies in Child Development, Social and Behavioral Studies, Human Development, and Physical Education. I’ve applied this knowledge as a teacher, Site Supervisor, and Director in early education, public schools, and management roles within both non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Each experience has strengthened my commitment to creating meaningful impact. I am most inspired by partnering with families and supporting teachers. I believe collaboration is essential, and I am excited to combine my experience with the “Ivy Kids Way” to contribute to the continued success of Ivy Kids Hobbs. This is more than a career; it’s a calling, and I am privileged to serve and grow with this community.

Bringing extensive experience in early childhood education, teaching, and directing, I joined Ivy Kids Hobbs in spring 2022, starting at the front desk and now serving as Education Director.
Since 1993, I’ve cherished the magic of the preschool years and their pivotal role in learning. My mission is to foster curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning for families, teachers, and our community. I believe education should be an inspiring adventure, preparing every child with the confidence to succeed.
Beyond my career, I enjoy time with my family, including five children and many grandchildren. Nature, animals, and reading enrich my life, and I dedicate free time to supporting animal rescue groups. With the incredible team at Ivy Kids Hobbs, I look forward to continuing our journey of shaping bright futures and sparking a love of learning in every student.
