Ivy Kids Continues Rapid Expansion, Awards Eight Franchises for 2017

As parents continue to put a greater emphasis on quality childcare and programs that encourage development at a young age, the demand for high-quality childhood learning centers has grown.

Since beginning franchising in Early 2016, Ivy Kids has awarded eight franchises in the Houston and Dallas metropolitan areas.

Birnham Woods – Birnham Woods is located next to the pristine Harmony master planned community in Spring Texas, and boasts a new H-E-B at the entrance to the community. This “gold medal” Ivy Kids location is better known, however, for being the home of World Champions Centre, a gymnastics training center owned by the parents of 2016 Team USA Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles.

Silver Ranch – With access to the acclaimed Katy Independent School District, many five-star restaurants and other high quality amenities surrounding the area, Silver Ranch has become a destination for growing families. The area is located 30 minutes from downtown Houston, so families are able to enjoy suburban respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, while also having easy access to the greater Houston area.

Atascocita – Located near Lake Houston, Atascocita is one of the fastest growing cities in the greater Houston area. According to the study by nerdwallet.com, Atascocita was ranked 14th best place to live in Texas, with top marks for crime, receiving a grade of “Most Safe” and an unemployment rate of 3.9 percent. Additionally, Humble Independent School District is constructing six new schools to accommodate the area’s population growth. “We are excited with our first Ivy Kids location and working with Ivy Kids. We love their approach to education,” says owner Vikram Kapur.
