At Ivy Kids, we believe character development is just as important as academic growth. That’s why we developed our World Changers® program, designed to help students build lifelong character values and make a positive impact on the world around them.

Each month during the school year, we highlight a different core character value:

  • September: Individuality/Differences
  • October: Patience/Waiting
  • November: Gratitude/Thankful
  • December: Generosity/Sharing
  • January: Responsibility/My Jobs
  • February: Creativity/Imagination
  • March: Honesty/Truth
  • April: Service/Helping
  • May: Perseverance/Keep Trying

These values are brought to life through daily conversations, thoughtful questions, and real-world connections that help students see how character shapes their choices, actions, and relationships.

Every week, students participate in hands-on activities that reinforce the value in action. Whether it’s creating kindness cards, participating in a service project, or working together to solve a problem, students actively explore what it means to live out the value of the month.

To help broaden their understanding of the world, students also watch weekly videos that highlight real children from different parts of the globe who exemplify the value of the month. These stories not only inspire students but also help them see that no matter where they live or how old they are, they too have the power to live out these values and make a difference.

The World Changers® program doesn’t pause when the school year ends, either. During the summer, we dive into a different World Changers® theme each week as a part of our summer curriculum. Students continue exploring values through engaging challenges, team-based activities, and creative reflection. Our school-age students also participate in World Changers® lessons during seasonal camps, ensuring that character development remains a year-round priority.

World Changers® isn’t just a lesson- it’s a mindset. By embedding these values into our routines and curriculum, students learn to empathize, collaborate, and lead with heart. We want every child to leave Ivy Kids not only school-ready, but world-ready. Together, we’re raising the next generation of thoughtful leaders, creative thinkers, and compassionate citizens- one value at a time.
